Notes:	NOTE: You must attend both sessions to receive a completion card. Dress comfortably and bring a water bottle and a snack if desired. Open to residents of any community age 12+. Please email mdavis@mcgregorems.org for those age 10-11 to discuss readiness, if you need accommodation to complete the class or Durham, Lee and Madbury residents, please contact us for a fee waiver if the fee presents a barrier.

This course is designed to certify individuals who are looking to, or already babysit. The minimum age requirement for this course is 11 years old.  Upon completion of this class individuals will receive a CPR and First Aid certification. 

Course Content:

• Safety

• How to handle emergencies

• Care and feeding of infants and children

• CPR and First Aid training

• Business aspects of being a babysitter

All students will receive a Babysitting Certification upon completion. Course encompasses a 5-hour agenda, so students should bring a snack, drink and lunch. Participants will be with the instructor for the entire duration of time. Students should also have parent contact information.  

Note: CPR Certification is valid for two years
